This golden-hour reception in support of preservation will showcase the artistry of a local architect and landscaper against the backdrop of a stunning Mission Hills modernist home. Experience panoramic views of Mission Bay, Mission Valley and beyond, while indulging in a wine bar and charcuterie spread curated by preeminent Mission Hills fromagerie, Venissimo Cheese. ANNUAL SPRING LECTURE
Continue the festivities with an engaging lecture series. This year, we’ll embark on an exploration of Mission Hills’ most spectacular modernist homes, led by local author and Southern California MCM expert Keith York. An often-overlooked treasure trove for design enthusiasts, Mission Hills boasts one of the largest enclaves of mid-century architecture in the region, featuring homes by top architects like Frederick Liebhardt, Lloyd Ruocco, and Homer Delawie. Enjoy coffee, pastries, and an old-house local vendor bazaar.
