The Spring 2010 tour was entitled “Views to Mission Valley” and spotlighted the less-publicized subdivision of Arnold & Choates Addition, and secluded Avalon Heights.
Six privately-owned homes, including several Craftsman homes, and two elegant residences on Avalon Drive, including the grand 1907 home of Judge William A. Sloane were on display. The tour also included the beautiful Mission Hills First Congregational Church (now Mission Hills United Church of Christ), designed by architect Louis Gill.
